Space Wolves - Heresy Grey Edition
This is the recipe for how i use speedpaints to quickly paint up a Space Wolf in the neutral grey 30k scheme (I use the scheme in 40k too)
I really like the Horus Heresy version of the Space Wolf colour scheme, and I also REALLY like the new 40k models for Space Wolves. So the only answer is a mash-up, also known as how do I use speedpaints to quickly pull off a nice grey Space Marine.
I don't have many work in progress shots for this model, so it's only 2 steps. The first step is the speedpaints and a wash, and the second step is highlights and shadows. Like most of my paintjobs, the majority of the work is in the speedpaint stage (step 1), finished off with some details in regular acrylics.
You can stop at the speedpaint stage and still have a good looking "Battle Ready" (tm) model if you prefer.
I've not gone into details on the face in this paintjob as that's going to be saved for another recipe.
