Prime and Bronze
After priming the model with Wight Bone Spray, paint all of the armour in Weapon Bronze.
Paints for this step
This is a "Battle Ready" colour scheme that I used to paint most of my Vampire Counts army for Warhammer: The Old World. I do usually follow up with a very quick round of highlights using non-speedpaint paints. But the images used here are only from this recipe and form a great base for which to layer additional details on.
The order these colours are applied in is deliberate as the lighter colours (applied later) don't show over the previous layers if you make a mistake, and if they do it adds to the weathered effect which means fewer touch ups.
