1. Who we are

The Bristle Forge ("the site", "we", "us") is a hobby community for miniature painters. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18 you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Usernames must not impersonate another person, brand, or organisation, and must not contain offensive or inappropriate language.

4. Acceptable use

When posting content or interacting with other members you must not:

  • Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or harassing towards any individual or group.
  • Post sexually explicit, graphic violence, or otherwise age-restricted content.
  • Post content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of others.
  • Spam, advertise unrelated products or services, or post the same content repeatedly.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By submitting content to the site you grant The Bristle Forge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of operating the site (for example, showing your posts to other users or including them in site-wide feeds).

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to post any content you submit, including images, text, and paint scheme information.

6. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms or that we determine to be harmful to the community. Where possible we will explain the reason, but we are not obliged to do so.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us via the About page. Upon deletion your personal information will be removed; some anonymised content records may be retained for community integrity.

7. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for any loss of data or content. Paint names, manufacturer information, and recipe data are provided for hobby reference purposes only.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes we will prompt you to re-accept.
